DON BOSCO, the Apostle of Youth, died on 31st January 1888, leaving behind 773 Salesians, 393 Daughters of Mary Help of Christians, the lay branch of Salesian Co-operators, an Association of Past Pupils as well works in nine countries in Europe and America during the time. Nowadays the " Salesian Family" is found in 128 countriest with 402,500

members which include priests, brothers, sisters, lay co-operators, benefactors and past pupils at the service of the education of the young and children. (Documenting in 2007).

DONBOSCO OF SIHANOUKVILLE

On April, the govermor of Sihanoukville donated the 4 hectare land for the Technical School in Mettapeap District. On January 30, 1999, Donbosco Technical School Sihanoukville was solemnly inaugurated by His Excellence SAR KHENG, the Deputy Prime Minister.

Don Bosco Technical School of Sihanoukvlle, has been administrated by Father, John Visser.

Don Bosco Technical School of Sihanoukville ( Preah Sihanouk Province) features an educational approach which specializes in helping Cambodia's youth to find work and live with dignity in their society, to lift them out of poverty with its accompanying threats and guide them to a worthwhile and fulfilled existence.

Our enterprise responds to the needs of disadvantaged Cambodian youth by offering them a high quality, totally free professional education which prepares them for work and for life, with benefit to Cambodia and potentially to other societies as well. Candidates from the Don Bosco Technical School are eminently employable in a globalized world. These young men and women are educated to a spirit of service carried out happily and professionally.
